Simon and Garfunkel at Vector Arena

Can't seem to find a thread on this and I've just got back from Auckers after going to the concert last night.

Verdict is it was fabulous . The sound system on the voice mics went poof during Bridge Over Troubled Water, but we the audience kept the song going for the short while it was off. They must have back up amplifiers or somehting because they got it going again pretty quickly.

As we all left the Vector Arena happy some woman in the apartments nearby yelled out "Simon and Garfunkel suck" haha I guess she wasn't over 50 years old huh .
    Cheers

Man they've really aged, though funny how they've retained their trademark hair styles.

Take your Zimmer frame, a tartan rug and a truckload of speed. The speed will hopefully keep you awake but I doubt it.

Yeah aged alright but I wouldn't mind being that energetic if I make it to 67.

Prices were at 3 levels, starting at about $100, then about $250 and top price was $350. Not a cheap concert, even the programme was $40. I doubt the boys will be back soon, so it was worth it.
