Oh ok if anyone can find a chassis in wellington through to palmy region I would be interested. From what I have seen Dave and Jay look good on thiers they are such a light bike and easy to fling around not like a RG50 Chassis. P.S anyone got any mos for a RG50 to turn it more race bike might make me some better footpeg mounts.

What was your last Chassis Dave it looked pretty cool

Couple of good things to do is fit a bigger disc, NZ250 disc goes straight on and then just extend the caliper mounting bracket back to fit. Fit a well made light fork brace. The differance is astounding. I was doing some work on the front of mine and forgot to tighten the pinch bolts on the clamp and holy hell . . . . dont just bolt on a bit of alloy/steel but make sure it actually does something. I've seen lots that just add weight. Build up some 2.15" spoked rims and fit decent tyres.

Then throw the whole lot away and buy a cheap RS125 and tear your hair out(assuming you have some) trying to fit your engine into it. My RS chassis cost $500. Mint condition '91. For that money you couldn't get a better small light chassis.

Speaking of RS125's etc, anyone know of a spare set of rims lying around from a pre 95 RS then give me a yell.

I'll keep an eye out for a frame for ya.

Yeah my last chassis was. . . an RG50. I'd just lowered it, added a few braces, clip ons & a race seat. Made a huge difference to the riding position & handling. The RS is very similar in wheel base & height.

Actually I’ve raised the seat on the RS as it was too low, designed for 40 kilo Japanese midgets.

The Wellington guys will be into that. Nice big heavy chassis to put their weak engines into.

Hey - I said "free" - "ideal" was never mentioned

It survived 10 years riding in Taranaki... Wellington would be hard pressed to do anything beyond what I gave it.

The offer is open to all... you want it? PM me.

I want to get as much track time as possible on a 125 even if the motor is the same. I am willing to pay 500 dollars for a chassis I just brought a RS for 5000
