    Leathers for unusual body shape?

Hey, I am loking for all in one leathers but have a slightly long body and short legs. Can anyone recommend someone who makes good quality but not overly expensive leathers in the Chch area (or if push comes to shove Auckland). Thanks

There is a leather place down Fitzgerald Ave, Ferry rd ish. They sell and do alterations.

Does a standard jacket fit OK? If not it would be easy to add a bit to the bottom to lengthen.

Same with trou - easy to take up a existing pair but you may need them split at the knees as they should be pre-bent as you spend most of your time sitting in them.

Jackets always too short and legs too long. I just really need made to measure stuff as trousers are always uncomfortable and don't have enough give where I need them to. Whenever I buy anything something is ok but others bits just aren't right so I would rather invest and get something that fits spot on.

Well I've got a short body and long legs - how about we buy two suits together, one large and one small, and we swap the jackets over?

You can't go past Leda for good old fashioned workmanship, not the fastest delivery in the world but if you are not in a hurry you'll find the wait was well worth it.

Another good option, though further away is MSW in Auckland: http://www.msw.co.nz/

Both good companies with good people and a good product.

Not cheap but far from expensive given the quality of work, the snag might be he lives in the metropolis of Pahiatua.
