KB photo albums, and posting them in forums?

The max size for posting an image on the forums should be the same as the max size for uploading a photo to your kb album.

Its lame as if you upload a photo to your album (and it has the img tag code to copy so you can paste it on a thread) then you share it on kb then get infracted.

Do it as thumbnail and there's no problem, or if you want to embed the full image then only upload it at 600 x 480.

Thumbnail linking your album pics is easy using BB code. Just wrap your thumb IMG tag with your pic URL tag.
