    For Sale: RX125 / RG150 Bucket - SOLD

Update: Sold and gone back to Auckland
Hey all, 'tis with a heavy heart that I must announce the sale of the bucket. Basically, I don't have the spannering acumen or time or dolleros to invest.

On the bright side, some lucky fella (or falice?) is going to take the reins of this peaky 2-stroke racer!

This one came to me via Shellracing and it's basically a Yamaha RX125 air-cooled two-stroke (24mm carb as required by rules) in a Suzuki RG150 frame.

Great Dunlop TT900GP tyres in pretty much new condition:
    90 front / 100 rear
(plenty - the knees have touched down in the wet)

Comes with spare engine, new piston, rings, and a few other bits - including race stand!

It's been plenty fast enough to lead the B group (always first off the line), and in the right hands would certainly give the A's a hard time.

All the nylon is in the right place, so it's ready to race!

Forks have just gotten new seals and oil.

All this for a paltry $800ono

Oh man, a real, non diesel bucket racer, you *really* sure that you want to give that up!?! I regret selling my beast and ended up buying something nowhere near as fun as my 2smoker cause we all know how addictive bucket racing is!

    You'll be back....

Thanks for the support guys - the bucket may be gone, but that just gives me more time trackside for awesome bucket action photography!
'sides - I'll be more than happy to crash, er... 'test' your buckets between races!

    See you next weekend!

Hi, I bought 1 of these as a paddock hack for the kids, the problem is it will start, run for 2 minutes then stop. I have spark, Ihave replaced spark plugs, points. Cleaned fuel tank, fresh fuel, stripped carby. Any ideas??
    Cheers.
