    Got a damn speeding ticket

At a pedestrian 116kph, enjoying a nice day north of Kaukapakapa.

Despite the officer's disbelief that a scooter could go that fast, he wouldn't buy my argument that his lazer unit was doubling its reading.

Doh, you should have tried to say there was no way you were going over 115km/h. Cheaper but same demerits

I think this is the first time I have read on the scooter pages that someone actually got a speeding ticket on a scoot. Congratulations and commiserations all in one!

You crazy bastard! You could've killed us all! I mean, take a 40 tonne truck and trailer unit, I can understand why cops let them get away with cruising the motorways at 120kph because they're soft like marshmallows and have no momentum and wouldn't cause any damage to anything, but your scooter at 116kph... that's just reckless and irresponsible.

Impressive effort on a scooter. Was it down hill in neutral?

Thats better than my telling off buy Mr Plod for lifting the front wheel about 2 inchs when I left a car park in Newmarket ....

No ticket just a verbal warning if I was on a Bike not a scooter who knows how he would have delt with it

Does that constitute "Sustained loss of traction"?
