I just talked to Frenchy. She's able to move her legs and is awake, smiling and talking although stoned off her face on Morphine. She's got a broken pelvis in 2 places but that's about it. They're looking at moving her back to Taranaki Base hospital today.

Her parents shot down to Palmy last night so she's not by herself. Unfortunately Frenchy had to leave due to a disaster back in New Plymouth.

    Here's another Get Well Soon.
Had my attention taken by the muppet who dropped his RD on the last sweeper into the pit straight, so I missed all the excitement just over my shoulder. Mind you, hospital-type excitement we can do without. You hear?
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?

Shitty deal Nicksta, but I'm confident that you will apply your positive attitude to healing, as you do in your racing. I missed the crash but it does make it harder to process when it's a mate. It was freaky watching you layed out there on the track. I am so glad that the VMCC have upgraded our ambo cover this season. It came in handy. Take it easy for a while and heal well mate.

    Get Well Chick

My heart sunk when I heard over the radio that it was the other female down. I am a tiny bit relieved my bike had broken down over the back track and I didn't see it happen.
Thanks heaps for your help over the weekend - it's awesome to be out there racing with you.
Mend fast and we'll see you out there soon aye - it wont be the same if I can't see you in the distance to focus on.

    Get well Quick

    Hope you OK Nick.
Would'nt want anyone to be on the receiving end of an "off" especially one that involves the impact of another bike and rider.

Just chill and let everyone (Frenchy) run around after you while you heal up proper like

Bad luck Nicki. Thinking of both you and Frenchy during your recovery. Having been through a similar situation recently... I hope the recovery period goes quicker than it did for us!
