I too cant believe how well you're punting that bike. It handles like a bathtub half full of water, so respect to you man.

Hopefully not with a newer rear shock, wider rear rim/tyre and front brake that kinda works. I'm aiming for a 1.16 on my big monsta

Yeah, was a bit of a shame.... Team Air Force's 600 was almost involved in Phil's Accident..... Lee said he was looking right into his eyes as he almost run him over!

Managed to haul it up though.

Good write-up Stevie, and that offer you of buying your bike at the end of the day... Well... No thanks.... I actually enjoy swinging spanners just as much
My bank manager prefers I stick to that too

    One day though...

Newer rear shock, Wider rear rim, better brakes..... I hope it is still pre 89 (sounds like an f2 to me)

We fire off for the start in the Posties last race, me nudging the front in grid posie #23, and I see this horizontal "stick" come shooting across the track towards me. I realise I'm going to run over it then I notice it's a ferkin chain!! All I could think of in the micro-second was my mate Greg's story about a chain wrapping itself around the front wheel and giving the rider a terminal headplant. Shite!! I'm over the top and there's more to worry about now with braking for turn 1! Phew! Another story for the grandkids!

That's just crazy talk. Besides, if he changed the rear wheel, his bike is no longer elegible for F2

All the "major components" will be off Pre 89 vintage but hey, if anyone wants to pay for my old bus to get stripped down and checked then that's cool by me

The onus is on the rider to prove it's legal. You're fucked!

I think the young press secretary is refering to a CBR600F2 not the F2 (sports production ) class.
