tiki lodge has some limited undercover parking , around $30 for a basic bed .
taupo top 10 on spa road is handy to the track , no under cover parking thou and better suited to two or three people at $80 a standard cabin whice are a tidy unit with jug, microwave ,linen ,tv.
weather radars in the post below there dont look to flash, but it is still 5 days out.

yea they are putting up the tyre walls now and getting the fencing up. still need to seal it tho!
