Lightbulb Got my Ginger (girl) M8 into riding. WOOT

OK so I've known this girl kim for 2 years, and last year i quote what she said "Haha you look pathetic on that thing, i wouldn't be caught dead on a scooter"

WELL WELL, now guess who just brought my scooter?
yep that's right, i managed to convince her to hop on the scooter for the first time in her life (with danae's help) the other day and she enjoyed it soo much she is buying my scooter as i have a bike now, just ran it over to her house so Steve the Harley rider could check it over and he gave it the OK, well.. quote "Done, SOLD" he then asked me if i wanted a deposit and i said nah pfft, she can have it when she gets her license and pay whenever cause im not bothered about the money, i just want to see her on two wheels

my mission is to teach her how to ride it, so im going to get her on it, get me on my bike, ride it to a carpark behind her and teach her so she can get better and become confident on the scooter,
Next step, get her on my bike some time (when i get another one so i can afford her to break it if that should happen)
THEN help her get her BHS
THEN help her study with the scratchie q's
THEN teach her how to use a manual bike/ride mine
THEN, help her find a good sports bike of her own
(she has back problems like me and just cant stand it when not leaning forwards cause it hurts the spine)
THEN do some courses with her like the RR-RS etc
THEN, we shall have another babe on a bike
im going to get her to join up on KB when she has time, maybe tomorrow

sound like a damn good plan to get another babe on wheels?
    i think so
im just so proud that i had to post this YUSS!

    Sounds like a plan.

Its not always a wise thing to teach your partner to drive/ride.

    So have fun.
Ride it until the wheels fall off...

Nice work! I just did the same for a lady friend of ours. She didn't take much persuading though, and now she has her 6L and a KR150 that goes like stink! She scares me somewhat though, as in a car shes a real speed demon.. Shes gunna be quick on a bike one day..

Congratulations .... get a Ninja, riding style is a little more upright. I get sore backs as well, but the Ninja has been great!!

Way to go, just make sure you teach her well and that she goes on to a proper riding course if she feels she wants to.
My wife has just made it onto the road on her bike, had it for the last 3 months but alway had to ahve me ride it to a car park, now, once on the roads and No way does she want to ride in a car park, "thats boring'
Rode the 8 K's odd, home and did it well.
looking forward to many days in the sun with my baby's.

Awesome! I heard she's like me and didn't like driving...trust me, once she gets confident on the scooter she'll have no probs learning to drive

Btw I still have my 1L :slap:

I know a couple of girls keen to get onto bikes, but when I've talked to them they hadn't realised the amount of investment it takes in terms of buying gear and then a bike.

They're still keen, dunno how probable their intentions are though haha!
