    oh, and whoever fiddled with my switchblock yesterday - putting on the indicator and highbeam etc etc - the highbeam switch is well and truely stick in there now. And it's turning on both high and low, for maximum current draw.

    no, but if you're keen i could take the axle to work and set it on a measuring table to see if it is infact bent

    I need to tighten my chain for the first time ever but have no idea how to do this nor what tools are required. Might someone be able to give me a hand tomorrow?

    Piss easy, right at the end of your swingarm is bolt sticking out of a thing hooked up to the axle.
    Turn this clockwise with a 12mm? spanner to pull the wheel back thus tighten the chain. Make sure you do the same amount on both sides of the swingarm or you wheel won't be straight.
    Tighten it till there is still a bit of play in the chain, not rigid.

    You been lubing your chain as well?

    But yes, pop around to Stephen's and it can be done in 2mins and then you'll know what to do next time
