Haha, a highly amusing thread Gen, you manage to find a running partner after all that? Particularly amused at r6_kid - do we get to hold hands, and the other one...they shouldn't be expecting a shag afterwards? Heh. Would you hold my hand?:-P I don't think I'd be able to keep up after 4 months no training...I'll ride the cbr after you revving and tooting :-D

Lol, I believe we may be ...ahhh well.

You can bring whatever really, our mates are generally proving pretty useless (disorganised), so I have know idea what's being brought. Not to worry! Should be a sweet night, haven't seen the physio crew in a while eh..

How about this for running an idea up the flagpole (ooer! Innuendo!), just have a biker ride next to you, they can speed up and beep you when you are slowing down ... sure you would get better responses that way!

(any excuse for a ride ... wait, more lascivious comments? )

Bring me bro, then I can hold her hand, and talk to you about your CBR and CBX! Maybe we could all go for a run together?

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.

So what sort of running partner do you need? I've sent many a pedestrian running in the inner CBD when it was my turn at the lights.

Perhaps I'll be more useful once you get faster? Bike doesn't have a problem tackling footpaths

I'd be keen, just as long as you don't mind if i throw solid objects at you as part of my training..

Don't see what that has to do with running?

But hey, you can't do much worse than roads have already done so far... they're a lot harder to avoid

Arm strength is part of my hockey training. That and I think it'd be entertaining..
