Saturday 26/3/05, anyone in Welly fancy a ride?

I'll be bimbling down tomorrow arvo and turning up in town at the Wildlife House backpackers tomorrow night (Friday) and I need summat to do on Saturday before I go and get off my face with CSL's group.

(No, I'm not the Mystery Guest. I have no idea who that is. I'm just the Unexpected Guest.)

I fancy a sort of general sightseeing ride, given that I'm not familiar with the Welly region and the weather's probably going to be crap anyway.

Anyone up for anything?

Good stuff. I have a date for Saturday morning, so a subsequent transition to lunch with the Hitchers would not be out of the question, I'm sure.

How about the Papakura Autobahn, say 1:30pm on Sat?

Oh wait, that'll never work. Well I'd prefer to not have to ride into Wgtn, then back out of Wgtn so maybe the local Wgtn folk can meet at Wgtn Motorcycles, and ride out meeting the Hutt and Kapiti folk at the bottom of the Haywards hill, Hutt side (at that gravel car park just after the lights up the hill). We can then ride to caltex for gas if required, and onwards ho!

How about leaving WMCC at 1pm, and leaving Haywards carpark at 1:30 - 1:45pm?
