BRILLIANT DAY

What an excellant turnout for an inaugural event! I didnt know there was that many scooters in NZ let alone in Christchurch!
I didnt take a camera so lets see those pix people.........

Twas a great day...the MC did a great job. Enjoyed the ride even if I did miss out on Brighton after Dave lost all the other riders....

Great ride home to kapiti from ChCh today.. Good effort for the old Trophy, she hummed along like a top! made it there and back (yes, Ixion, with the lights on and in the dark too), used no oil, dripped a bit but not much and even sat there idling in the shed waiting for the happy owner to give the word that the days task was done...

Good fun event, bloody well organised but farkin cold - oh well... it was a winter rumble... More tomorrow but no pictures - forgot to take the camera eh? Thanks for the hospitality and Jim2 as an excellent riding companion and Warick, what a star - chch to picto to chch in one day on the MHR...

Click above for 80 odd pictures of the bikes at this event - your welcome to comment on them, especially if I have taken a picture of your bike. It means I liked it - sorry mods, i'm a rocker so its slightly biased. There are a few scooter pictures though.

We had an awesome day and really enjoyed seeing so many cool bikes and scooters out. The buzz was great and Poplar Lane went off afterwards.

Hey i've just put all of my pics up in my mods and rockers album. If anyone wants to hunt one out they are there for you to see.
Heaps of lovely bikes and the odd KB'er as well.
