Yup .. good for him .. i support a few blindness charities.. many US Veteran charities, Alzheimers charities etc..
many of you on here donate to rescue helicopters, St. Johns .. etc etc... you got to the hospitals and funerals for people youve never met
a few bucks here and there shouldnt make you a saint.. neither should being a celebrity ..
...
Obviously there are many who dislike MJ. However.. At the end of the day he is still someones son, brother, cousin, friend or whatever. RIP.

This thread is just the product of media hype, misconceptions, personal opinions, just like so many other threads on KB. There is no reforming those that think one thing to think another. Not that I would ever desire that.
I myself even, am becoming tired of the media speculation of events that have been or are to be wether they be false or truth, as we await a buriel.
Michael was a product of a troubled childhood, and overwhelming fame and tabloid criticism, of which culminated in poor decissions and exploitation of his fame by many that could get close to him.
I myself went to 8 shows in 1996, and a short film world premiere, including a couple of public apperances for Sony, and saw first hand the frenzy that followed his every move. Though is was this frenzy that fed Michaels need for more, even though it was not realy what he needed to get better.
dont get me wrong Skiddy .. im all for the Sheeple wasting their lives on the hype .. MJ, Amy Winebag, Brittney etc .. have a great time ..
keeps you guys out of the way of those of us with shit to do
off ya go now.. your iPod is calling
Michael Jackson's death has left fans so devastated that several have committed suicide, according to the man behind his biggest fan site.
Gary Taylor, president and owner of MJJcommunity.com, believes 12 people have taken their lives in response to their idol's death.
A worried Jesse Jackson has issued a YouTube message urging fans not to "self-destruct".
"This is a time when hearts are heavy," says Rev Jackson. "There is great pain but great cause to celebrate Michael's life.
"It made Michael happy saying 'We Are The World'. Don't self destruct.
"We fall down sometimes, we get back up. That's the right thing to do. In Michael's name let's live together as brothers and sisters and not die apart as fools."
Taylor, whose online community has more than 14,000 users and 30 staff worldwide, echoed the reverend's words that the singer would have been devastated by fans' deaths.
"I know there has been an increase, I now believe the figure is 12," he told Sky News online.
"It is a serious situation that these people are going through but Michael Jackson would never want this. He would want them to live."
The London-based entrepreneur said he was also having trouble coming to terms with the loss.
"I'm stunned that he's dead. One minute he is coming here for concerts and the next he is gone."
I feel sorry for the guy. Never had a proper childhood, and tried to recover that in adulthood, with terrible results (regardless of whether or not he kiddy fiddled, it was poor judgement to put himself in that position).
Look at his old videos; he seemed to be enjoying himself a lot more than in the later ones.
He had a huge impact on a generation. I wonder if that can happen again, given the many methods of obtaining information these days (he pretty much got radio and Music TV in his day). I wonder if the sheer volume of stuff on the internet will prevent anyone becoming as big as MJ did in his day.
I hope his kids grow up somewhat normally - they didn't have any chance before, they only have a small chance of it now.

What's the best part about the death penalty in Texas?
Less Texans.
