If you dont, you dont know what your missing!
They are fantastic in the cold winter mornings and nights.
For the sake of a bit of cash, its worth it as they simply DO NOT FOG.

I am offering a deal at Motomart.
Bring your helmet in and ill fit the pinlocks and the insert to your helmet while you wait, FREE OF CHARGE!
Will only take about 5 minutes.
Holes will need to be drilled in your visor for the pinlocks to go on, but once in place you will barely notice them.

They are Shoei Pinock Inserts, but can be fitted to nearly any brand visor.
Cost of the insert is $49.99.

So if your interested, pop in at Motomart, 7 Rutherford St, Lower Hutt

some conditions apply, all fitting of pinlocks and inserts is at buyers risk.
any chance of a tinted antifog insert?

Cycletreads was doing them for $129.

I cant remember if that was the 3mm thick "race" visor or the 2.5mm standard one but i thought it was pretty steep

There is a light reactive Insert available. Made by FogCity.
In low light conditions it is light green but once the sun hits it, it changes to a tinted blue.
While keeping your visor fog free.
There used to be a full tint insert available, but I will have to double check if they are still available.
    Will let you know.

I just fitted a pin lock to my raid II and was amazed at the difference it made compared with even the stick on anti fog film. Also happy that it won't peel off like the sticky crappy thing that i had on there before . Cost slightly more, was $150 inc the visor pre drilled but so much less hassle in my eyes

Put one of those stick on things on my visor the other day. Helped but not by much. Was riding along dominion rd when the 5mm wide edging (that in hindsight I think you're supposed to remove after sticking it on) came off and started flapping around inside the visor.

Before I could do anything about it, I inhaled through my nose, sucked about 100mm of the edging straight up my nose and down the back of my throat. Managed to keep a clear head, indicated, pulled over, ripped up my visor, pulled the damn thing out and just about lost my lunch all over the sidewalk.

    Beware...

If anyone had of spotted me pulling a long streamer of plastic out of my nose while parked on the side of the road then it probably would have caused an accident

Pinlocks are great, i got the shoei visor and antifog insert... wish i had known that someone was drilling holes, could have saved myself a hundy bucks!

I have managed to get the visor to fog on a really cold foggy morning but only slightly (hamilton is very humid), other times when i've been riding there's been so much condensation that i have seen water drops form on the visor around but not on the antifog insert - proof of a good product!

Now i just gotta find how to stop my glasses fogging
