    Kawa 250 R EX-250E Engine issue?

Hi guys not really sure whats the go at the moment.
I had my bike in the shop a few months back getting the valves adjusted for my 250, so i don't know if this is related

Ive noticed since then my engine just stops dead randomly and Ive noticed its getting more frequent. And certainly more annoying
Appears to be when sitting in a high gear and just cruising
    AND
when slowing down to stop at the lights or a give way.

Its not like it splutters and dies, the revs just go straight to 0... do not pass go.
I simply pull the clutch in and hit the starter... comes back to life.

Its happened a few times on the back roads ( ie at speed.. uh lets say 70 kms )

any ideas whats happening here? Is this related to my mechs having a fiddle, the bike never did this before they did the valves... but it could be co-incidence.
