    Melted pants..

    Hi everyone. Has anyone got any tips for getting burnt on cordura off chrome pipes?? My pants melted.....

    Ya lazy bugger lol. Tried the Jif. It got rid of a small amount but didn't shift the really baked on stuff. Can't find my autosol so will have to fork out for some. Mothers chrome polish doesn't remove it. Oven cleaner could be the go.

    Autosol should work

    I have in the past used a steelo pad to take off rust on chrome...

    Damn, how annoying, my boots heels youst to melt onto the chrome pipes of a bike i owned. I remember it being very stubborn to remove and it seemed autosolve was okay with a good bit of elbow grease.
    Your pipes are blue will jiff or autosolve ruin the anodising?!!
    I found CRC good for tar, might work.

    Ah, but melted plastic is not tar. This stuf gets rid of hot melt glue from hair mate, very good stuff.
