Completely normal! Kids bounce. Thats why they're supposed to be out climbing trees etc from a young age.

I bounced a similar aged kid off of the front of my Holden Ute a few years back. He ran across a busy intersection at the same time as I went for the gap in the cross traffic and in an instant he appeared in front of me, and then bang, he dissappeared below the bonnet line and I waited for the bump under the wheels

Luckily he rolled on hitting the road and then scarpered to the roadside like a frightened rabbit. Ambulance and hospital visit for the kid but discharged with minor bruising. He got off easier than me, and his grandmother in whose charge he was in, as both of us were pretty freaked out by the incident. No charges to be answered for either.
