    Dodgy stator maybe?
'Bout the only electrical bit we didn't get to.

    .

That does sound like a likely candidate, my DR-Z gets taken away tomorrow so I'll officially be bikeless until NMC get it sorted.

    Next Shed night looming...

Main point raised recently is how to set suspension sag, and what it all means. I can bring numerous references, how to's, etc as material for discussion; and a bike that wants the fork preload changed and measured.
    Cheers,
    Colin

    .

Now the bike is at the shop being made reliable (Morleys this time, as far as I could get the bike under its own steam)...possible top end rebuild. A guy Richard is working on it, he's currently working on a 1979 DR370 VMX bike so I figured he was qualified enough. Suspension set up woul be great to play with, I'll definitely be there, bike or no bike.

Got the 'estimate' today...I almost figured I might as well give the bike away, but then had another think and figured I couldn't know the history of any other bike in this price bracket, so I've told them to go for it. I am going to own this bike forever!

Hey were you posting here so I wouldn't see it - well didn't work did it. I have a copy of twisting throttle Oz if someone wants a good quick funny read. Might do a quick grease of the steering bearings while there wil be another set of hands.
