Probably but generally not a good idea to do so publicly. The friends system allows you to share your details with only the ppl you specify, which is a bit safer. Alternatively PM those that request it.

    Cheers Nigel!

With 5mm less preload on the front, it is noticeably more supple so probably a good thing. Will be interesting to test again at Waimea.

The numbers show that the springs are definitely too soft but some of the harshness should be gone.
    Cheers,
    Colin

Hey! I just found the owner's manual for my CBX250 I was fairly sure I'd made a copy.

You are welcome to have a look and/or copy. Valve clearances are IN: 0.05mm and EX: 0.08mm, cold. Use the "T" mark on the generator rotor. Doesn't list fork oil height, but IIRC when I bought fork oil, the shop had a book from the oil ppl listing the number.
    Cheers,
    Colin

I wonder what sort of images it would conjure up hearing that the girls were having a night to play with their toys ?

I've got a KTM 400 that seems to need a bit of attention http://www.kiwibiker.co.nz/forums/sh...d.php?t=105876
Or maybe thats a bad idea.... a bunch of people drinking beer and taking turns to undo bits off a motor .

I've got a base gasket to change, so there may be more than one lc4 on the bench!!

Will check with her indoors, probably around 2 weeks away to give ppl notice.
    Cheers,
    Colin

My lc4 is going to reside in a fish bin till then
Couldnt take the cylinder off without a 15mm ring spanner (odd size aye)
so make sure you have one of those WW
Big probs inside mine ,con rod bearings , crack around the bore .
    should be an interesting evening.
    Anyone got a spare lc4 400,600,640 motor ??
