    Lightbulb Shed night

    ...a motorcycle support group...

It's simple, really. We all congregate at someone's shed, fiddle with bikes, down some bevvies, and talk shite. Not just a social night, but a chance to get some help with skills or equipment to maintain your bike.

For new riders, it's a great opportunity to learn from the more experienced.

If you have any specific jobs you would like assistance with, post here and ppl can offer to help. Ditto if you need some extra tools to get something done.

Dates and sheds to be arranged herein.

    All care and no responsibility!
    Cheers,
    Colin

Right, first one: Calendar event here

Where: Warewolf's shed (PM for address)
When: Thursday 2nd July, 7:00pm onwards

So far we have the following jobs to do:

    • Check the valve clearances on Padmei's KLR650 (shim over bucket... fun), plus tap a new footpeg bolt hole.
      Padmei can't make it now.
    • Get Willdat?'s newly acquired DR250 running, and possibly Warewolf's similar.
    • Check/set the sag on Warewolf's 640A.
    • CrazyFrog will change a tyre on his bike, timed to set the benchmark.
No doubt there'll be more, I've always got a long list of jobs to be done.

I have a motorcycle trailer which ppl can borrow if necessary, but Willdat? has first dibs this time.

    I'll put the kettle on...

Can I be so bold as to profer a suggestion for the tyre changing?

It must be done with the tools you usually carry on your bike with you.

    Thats all.

    Goodnight.
I mentioned vegetables once, but I think I got away with it...........

You either get the heater, or the bbq. Can't do both unless we crank the bbq up to 11.

Sorry boys, I'm playing with aircraft on Thurs PM, so no go for me.
Looks like Woody might win the tyre changing race by default (I don't like changing cold tyres anyway).

Will have to do the tyre change another time because if i take me wheel off the bike will fall off the stand and then when I go to buy another broken part I will have to lie about how I did it.

WW what is your addy. Pm if you like.
