110/70/17 front....140/70/17 rear.....never really had bridgey's before,always had Pirelli's or michelins.
It was a toss up between these or Dunlop GPR10's, so welcome folks opinions.
The rules state nothing wider than 110 front or 140 rear & no warmers, full wets are allowed...
I struggled with no warmers last year in Clubbies, but we'll all be in the same boat in this class
The bike is looking decidely raceier after a wet afternoon![]()
The Heart is the drum keeping time for everyone....
No, you do not and you have not. Prove it. Yes, as stated you were wrong.
Factory hyobag with carbs is 33hp at the crank, I will keep telling him that until he gets it. He is full of shite
Try weighing itI put mine on the calf scales, you will be pleasantly surprised. They are 40hp at the crank, mine did 32hp at the wheel when I brought it and after three years of playing with jets and slide and needle height and exhaust set ups ended up with a fraction over 34hp at the wheel and 3nm more [which I was bloody stoked with]

well i was running at 30hp when i bought the bike (it was dyno'd by mt eden before i bought it lol selby was trying to win a bet) since then ive de snorkeld the filter, removed the fuel limiter, removed the cdi retard wire and i have the new exhaust and ive "run the engine in" so im guesing a 6 hp increase.
weight...
new exhaust -3kg
internal plastic (tool holder ect..) -3kg
tail light and mud guard -9kg
headlight -11kg (not sure ill have to check again but it is close to that)
rear seat and mounts -8kg
grab handle -5kg
passenger pegs -6kg
fairng mods +3kgs
apx weight loss 35kgs original weight confermed in my owners manual at 182kg dry, weight off fuel 17L 13kg apx
my figures arent that far feched
i can pull far feched ones out my arse if you realy want
im aiming to win. its a goal, i dont realy care if i dont but im going to do it anyway
and unless someone better turns up like rachprice i prob will win so you can run your mouths all you want, but come nov 1st ill be there with my bike and thats not going to change.
so ill say it again if you can make it with a twin250 four on nov 1st at puki then pm me so i can get back to mark or chris with numbers
thankyou

I have a 250 twin and would be keen az beanz for a race...... but mines a dirty ol smoker![]()
What are hyusung parts made of?
Cast iron and Lead?
Did you weigh all the bits complete or separately?
Does your bike still fit the rules?
Pacific club are running there 4stroke 250 class(open to all 4 strokes, no cylinder limit, not resticted to twins) with the 150ss, this class is starting to get more entrys and will not be stopped when this new twins class comes in,
It wil probably be run all i the same race. ie 150ss, 250 4stoke (open) and 250 twins, 3 classes in one race
Like how Pro twin(650) has restictins and a SV650(or whatever other 650) in F3 can be modifyed, they still all race together in the same race but 2 classes
I will call Nigel from pac club and ask about this new class and confirm whats happening when the Summer Series starts
I think I'll take 1 Nov off work, and take my camera down to Pukekohe, should make for some interesting racing. Hey Chaos, what's a fuel limiter, and where does it live on the Hyo?
Nothing wrong with wanting to win dude, funnily enough it drives a lot of us...you just don't see us rocking around talking ourselves up and insulting well experienced racers
Someone better like me? Is that a piss take or what????
Dyno chart for mods on a hyosung....http://www.gofastloudly.com/id75.html
Even with mods doesn't get above around 25
Good on you for wanting to win. Show me a dyno sheet. I bet $20 it wasn't making 30hp at the wheel. De snorkeled the air filter? Have you jetted the carbs to suit? Ther is no fuel limiter, it is a diaphragm to stop fuel flooding the bowls whilst the engine is off. The new exhaust? Have you got a set of tuned length extractors or just an end can? Either way, needs carb jetting or it will run too lean and since the hyo is oil cooled it cannot compensate for that, so best to do the jets. CDI retard wire? Explain how you have done this? If you run your engine too lean [as it will be] with the timing too advanced OR retarded it's stuffed. Please go get the bike jetted and get carb springs to suit [perhaps softer springs to run richer at part throttle so you don't melt or hot spot anything]. Give us proof of the headlight weight etc
I hope you have a good time out there mate, go hard and show us we are wrong.
Pharque, I've seen 25 on one before. That is truly pathetic
Well, experienced racers and intelligent beings like myself realize that you can never stop learning how to ride faster and that it's not just all get on and go. I don't know why he talks himself up so much, this is a picture of the chicken strip [or farm] from the hyosung he rides. I myself know that I will get out ridden by many a person, but, I don't mind. I go at my pace

Trouble is mate with all the mods youve made,Youll have to enter F3 as your bikes no longer legal for 250 production. But wait,Theres more,If your claimed dry weight is from the manufacturer then youll find it means completely dry,IE no fork oil, gearbox oil, brake fluid, coolant,In fact in some cases they dont even inlude the tyres. All they do is weigh the individual parts and then add it all up,Example Craig Shirriffs RGV250N claimed dry by Suzuki 139kgs,Actual dry weight when we weighed it for airfreighting too Phillip Island = 151kgs
