Had a wee weigh up of the superfluous bits & its 4.5kg still got the pipe to fiddle with yet,& the stand's yet to come off so should be another couple of kg yet.....

Paul Lance races a GPZ900 post classic bike and does a really good race report in the mag. The October edition will have more details.

The pipe doesn't weigh much really. Rip out the carbon collector box [rhs back of engine] and re-route the pcv valve straight to the airbox, couple of grams there not 35kg...but meh. Be careful to make sure the coolant overflow line is ok....and pressure test the cap. Ditch the fan switch on the lhs of the radiator, put a wire from that to the radiator mount [8mm bolt] and put the electrical clip back on, hard wire time! No need to worry bout it shagging out. I have spare clutch here and the loom from gatchs bike and various other engine bits

Pacific club are running there 4stroke 250 class(open to all 4 strokes, no cylinder limit, not resticted to twins) with the 150ss, this class is starting to get more entrys and will not be stopped when this new twins class comes in,
It wil probably be run all i the same race. ie 150ss, 250 4stoke (open) and 250 twins, 3 classes in one race
Like how Pro twin(650) has restictins and a SV650(or whatever other 650) in F3 can be modifyed, they still all race together in the same race but 2 classes

I will call Nigel from pac club and ask about this new class and confirm whats happening when the Summer Series starts

I have been talking with Nigel this arvo and the 250s and 150s all will race together (along with125GP) 250 prolite twins to new MNZ rules, 250 4stroke 4 cylinder and modifyed twin and 150ss . will sort out final details at next club meeting.

the class is waiting for us with amcc it wont happen unless we show up.

so bring what you want as long as it has 2 cylinders, is 250cc MAX and strokes 4 times

its funny how there making the rules when they dont even know if there are enough people to race in it.

so we all show at puki nov 1st and if there are more then 8 of us ready to go and pass scrutinearing then we will run.

who cares where you bought your bike or how you got it just bring it.
