PS my dads used saws most of his life (farmer) and hes such a fucking menace I wont let him near one on our job sites. I give him lessons any chance I get. It wasnt until his best mate put one through his face that he really started to listen. EVERYONE who can start one thinks they can use a saw, but most are just comparitively scooter riders playing with R1's, the accident is just a matter of time.

fuck all i asked for is if anyone had one i could borrow....

    simple answer..yes..or no....

apart from CJ... i will have to find my butt kicking boots!! hahahahahahah

Orchadest wraped himself round a PTO shaft next door, he had growen up on a farm, had 30 years of opperatting tractors and implements, even so he is still crippled because he was not as good as he thought he was.

People who use chainsaws for anything more than hack value know what they can do you see...

You probably know how to operate a chainsaw in the same way my nephew thinks he can ride a motorbike because years ago he rode a JR50, but hes hardly ready to borrow my fireblade.

So forgive us for trying to help you out, you dont even know enough to know you dont know enough, so someone has to look out for you, as your probably not qualified to do it yourself in all circumstances. Or do you lend out your bike to anyone that ridden a bike before?

You probably dont because you understand that unless a person has alot of experience at a certain level, then lending them your buell on the rimutakas would be irresposible and potentially dangerous. Same with us and our saws.
ohhh Timber, the grumpy old git is having us all on... as for lending his bike out... well he gave it to me once, no questions asked and i cant ride for shit... however thats a shit load beter than he can ride which intern is a crap load beter than he can use a chain saw... ahhh hell AJ's screwed

I would like to know who would outright lend a chainsaw? I would bring the saw round and do it but NEVER 'lend'?

    Grandad taught me 2 things.

    1. Never lend another man your chainsaw
    2. Never lend anothre man your wife

    In that order too.

Chainsawing small bits are ok. You just need to make sure the log is hard up against the chain guard first then bite the chain into the timber. It won't fly back. Worst case, the chainsaw leaves your hand and rides up over the log away from you.

Couple of splitting wedges and good size mallet , You will achieve more. Then you will have split firewood muscles and blisters.

I think he means the wood is split but to long to fit in his fire so it needs to be cut across the grain...

I got a chainsaw you could have used but it hasn't been released by forensics yet... something about "They're all dead, they're all dead. I killed the bastard..."
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.

How much wood could a wood chop chop if a wood chop could chop wood ?
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

My Jonserad 2165 Turbo is tucked away safely. Only 1 Operator for that bugger, and conveniently too far away........

The Jreds are great saws, I run mainly stihls but have 8 huskys/jreds, the airfilter system is FAR superior. My 3120 is just getting warmed up when both my 88's start chocking on the chips and loosing power.
