    xl250s swing arm onto cb250rs?

    g'day,

this is probably the wrong section, but i'll ask anyway.

i am caffing an 80 cb250rs and would like to know if an xl250s alloy swing arm will fit the cb250rs frame without any serious modifications( none preferably)

    thanks

Personally, I don't have a clue.. Things I would look at though would be where/how the suspension attachs, how the swingarm attachs (bearing sizes, does it hinge off the motor etc).

I would assume it would take some work..

Is the XL250S swingarm any better than the RS'?

This has a custom swinger on the back of a GB250 frame. It's got a CBR600RR rear wheel to match the CBR600RR front end! The exhaust is pure sex.

I believe the xl-swingarm is NOT made out of aluminium, so not any better than the RS-swingarm...please bring more light into the matter

AFAIK the swingarms only became aluminium on the monoshock bikes. Could be completely wrong though.
