What happened??.... Justice is a by product of westminster style law systems, Rickard's proved that beyond doubt; furthermore every minor traffic charge that is undefended because it costs more for defence than it does for the charge rams the fact home. Our 'justice' system is about control and lining pockets, appeasing public opinion is a by product. The copper [in this case] is still an arse hole regardless of court [or jury] guilt.
Just caught up with the case on teh tellie......
So a dead shit who steals a phone gets beaten up by a copper, escapes and runs into a street sweeper [and dies later]. The case goes to court, two coppers commit perjury trying to stick up for their dodgy mate. After trial the jury is unable to gain a majority agreeance on guilt/innocence.
What a fucken farce, coppers, crim and jury are all guilty of gross stupidity.......you really have to worry about the justice system when hearing about cases like this.
So anybody that runs from a cop (or from anybody else for that matter) and gets killed through their own stupid actions is automaticly a manslaughter victim?
Well who'd a thunk it!
Anyway, off on a ride, got better stuff to do than fight trolls today....
Winding up drongos, foil hat wearers and over sensitive KBers for over 14,000 posts...........![]()
" Life is not a rehearsal, it's as happy or miserable as you want to make it"
So you're advocating a ACC original sized raise in the fines then?
Must be ONLY for members of the public.... Being a cop is not being a member of the public, apparently.
Coz the jury has so much to gain from it...... ????????
A lower back? A builders butt crack?
The pom's suffer the same fate as Hazzard County residents. Word from the old country is licence points loss is highly dependant on where you live.
Speeding prosecutions are ‘postcode lottery’

Speeding prosecutions are dished out in a postcode lottery with the chances of getting one varying widely from one region to another, according to a report.
One in eight motorists in North Wales received points on their licence for speeding in 2007 compared to one in 100 in Durham.
For all traffic offences, Northamptonshire led the way in England and Wales with on in six motorists getting points.
Durham was again bottom of the table with a rate of one in 50.
In Scotland, Dumfries and Galloway beat even North Wales, with one in five getting points.
The rate of drivers getting points for using mobile phones also varied, from 1% in Merseyside to one in 500 in Leicestershire.
A spokeswoman for the magazine Auto Express, which obtained the figures, said: “The risk to your licence simple depends on where you live.”
That isn't the whole story. Durham doesn't actively target motorists for their money.
They also don't have a rising road toll. Coincidence?
It's only when you take the piss out of a partially shaved wookie with an overactive 'me' gene and stapled on piss flaps that it becomes a problem.
Atheism and Religion are but two sides of the same coin.
One prefers to use its head, while the other relies on tales.
