I refute any and all charges. Unless you have evidence then this case is closed.

Still have no idea what you are on about anyway

What you need to remember, old one, is that I'm half your age and as such my mental faculties are still in tact. You are also implying that I was not sober - preposterous!!!

For those that have not been down this way. The turn off to Owaka (and Kaka Point) on the main street of Balclutha. Signposted for "The Southern Senic Highway". Turn left here.(pic 1)

On the highway at Telford farm training Institute (thats it on the right) ... Turn left here. (pic 2)

The rally site is on the other side of the pine trees on the right. Look out for the armco bridge. Slow down to turn right just past (at) trees. (pic 3)

Looking back towards Kaka Point. (pic 4)

    My thanks to google earth.

Nah mate, you and the Farcute one were tucked up with your Horlicks and bedsocks by 10pm. John was only getting started. I also seem to recall some nice ladies from Kaitangata who'd come over to be groupies.......oh yes, and the rock-singer chick from the band, Shotgun.

I friggin love this rally, its set in a spectacular scenery and has got my vote with moraki as being the A1 Southern places to get to.

The Penguins Organisers do an awesome job and are as freindly as they come.

Sorry guys going to have to tell you again, I am going to miss you dudes so much its unbelieveable, biking over here, runs through my veins, its in my head its all I think about, and plan for, and am sick as the sickest pig to leave the scene.

Do me a favour at the Penguin, I'm going to be at my first British Rally in Bristol, so raise your glass to me and I'll raise a glass right back at ya and lets do a phone call eh, and I'll cry all over the phone........you can bet that'll happen, may even try to get a video phone to show the scene I'm in.

Ciao for now, from a Sad Woodybee, wish they had a smile for a sad little yellow man kicking a stone with his hands in his pockets, coz thats how I feel right now.

    ABOVE ALL GUYS, HAVE FUN:
We'll all miss you too Jan, full of life and vitality. The first time I met you was at the PP Rally and we'll certainly raise a glass to you at this one. Keep us posted on life back home.

    All the best.

I can promise that if you follow my directions you will end up at the rally site, and there will only be one unsealed road. Even that one can be avoided by taking every sealed road to the left after the Balclutha bridge except for "No Exit" roads.
    Time to ride

True, but why is it, that at a rally, Mr S disappears early, puts on a dress and comes back pretending to be Miss Somebody or other?

It's not a good look but I think he has great taste in dresses!

A couple of points of order if you don't mind ...
    1. NO WAY have I ever been tucked up with that queer prick with the ghey jacket
    2. The last photo I took that night was at 1021pm, so I disappeared sometime after then ... to my own tent ... BY MYSELF!

Thank you for corroborating my story, mind you considering the state you were in, I'm not sure you're a reliable witness
The views expressed above may not match yours - But that's the reason my Dad went to war - wasn't it?
