    Sounds like a great idea.
If it isn't raining (I'll bring the bike) I'll come and ask you some questions about my bike and setup, I'd like to see how well my understanding of suspension holds up.

Sweet! I'll definitely be making an effort to get up their Rob, you can check your handy work on the R1. Another example of giving back to the sport.

20 years ago ''Superbikes'' only had about 60% of the power, frames were a lot less nervous and rigid, tyres were also a lot narrower and far less grippy. Factors all that challenged suspension far less.
In real terms suspension now has a much much harder job of keeping up with it all.

Mmmm, I'd thought I had bigger balls back then (everything shrivels up over time!). Will have to see if I still have what it takes next season. Certainly wont be the equipment that lets the side down!

Soon! And before anyone else jumps in there is no-one yet accredited in Wellington on the Ohlins side of things. Being an Ohlins agent / technician is also about attending the relevant training schools and satisfying technical and marketing criteria.

The only Ohlins dealers / service technicians are those officially authorised. Christchurch is established subject to some further training. Auckland is currently in limbo as is Wellington and strict criteria has to be met. No further discussion until that is satisfied and set in concrete.

    Neither did I.
Coulda done with some expert tweaking of my rear shock so Robert's fettling of the forks are well matched. I think it's pretty good now, but I don't have a well-calibrated arse-ometer.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....
