    If you worked for customs we would already know each other!........We've already done the whole bike shipping deal with the bike that is already here!.....So if any of you need help!.....The bike is getting fitted with a crash guard at the moment and then some ape hangers then it's off to the crateing Co..(different from the shipping people.....1st lesson!)....Then the Crateing people take it to shipping place.......Gets put on ship and 3 weeks later it will get to Lyttleton and Crateing people here get it from the ship and we pick it up from crateing co. here........Not too complicated......Just gotta shop around for best prices.......Bike cost $6K..US...(which is close to NZ$ at the moment)...Crateing and shipping was about $2k and Reg.and crap another $1K........And bike will sell easily at about $14K when I am done with it, as it is FULLY chromed ......I better be "NICE" to my Mom.....so she will buy me another one at that point!!!.....Her bike ROCKS!!!!!!!!

    Wonder how I missed this before. Welcome to another Ex-American. Even if you were born here first... Hope you're not having your bike shipped with crown. Nevermind long story. Enjoy the riding, but hopefully you won't be keeping the bike with ape-hangers, can't see them handeling all that well on the roads here.
