First and foremost thanks FF for the updates! Taking your time to post them here to let all know that he is doing better. And all the best to him from me, FF should you catch him again soon.

Second Wkid1 for one of the few times in his million posts (altho i didnt care to read it all properly) posted something we could all take into consideration.
Not agreeing with all.. but this part for sure
    1. People will crash
    2. People will take the piss out of it
    3. Other people will be sympathetic
    4. A section of people with insinuate, infer or plainly tell the rider s/he sucks and shouldn't be near a bike

    That IS the bottom line(s).

How about everybody else put their Stupid goddam personal BS away for five seconds yeah? I mean, im sorry to sound insensitive but i think the only one thats shown sensitivity here is FF!!! The only one who cared not about stupid nit-picking, and gave an update to any KB'er not caught up in their own self inflicted shit over the minors.

    I choose to be sympathetic
. No if, buts, or maybes.

Who do you choose to be?

    Re Gary (again)

ok, things looking good for Gary, he is much improved ! , Had a long visit yesterday in which I was able to eat most of the goodies his other visitors had left for him.

Surgery went well, they are talking about maybe letting him out monday, he will have heaps of phizio to do, but apart from having some cool chick pulling scars, he will be fine.

His bike has been picked up, and is already starting to get sorted, and hes is already talking about a ride down 22 in a few weeks ..

Once again thanks to everyone who has contaced me to find out how he has been doing, I have passed on all your good wishes...

    my own fault really.

    Hey!

With all these threads flying around i just noticed.....
It seems to me that Puke is a dangerous track.Lets see.

    1.No maintanance
    2.No run off
3.Poor standard of equipment.Where were the bales.
4.Test days are a disaster ie cars sliding around nobody knows when its their turn on the track.Racers out with road riders no bibs for novices etc etc.

HOW LONG BEFORE SOMEONE ELSE GETS KILLED AT THIS CRAP TRACK!

Sorry but this accident has narked me off!.It could have been avoided with some attention to detail.

Anyone know when Hampton Downs will be ready?.

    Sorry about Gary.

this has been the problems since forever.. no one really listens any more, cos to fix all these problems cost mula, something they don't have a heap of, and probably wouldn't make back quickly. They are doing little bits here and there, but it's all money.
Unfortunately, people have died and/or been seriously injured at the track.

Is Hampton Downs the track that's rumored to be the F1 track near Meremere? That'd be way cool.. way $$ too

In the twenty years since I first visited Pukekohe nothing much has been done to improve either the track or the facilities, they've finally got around to doing the drainage which has been a problem for even longer than that

The money that they have charged for running the events over that period of time would have paid for the upgrades that the track needs many times over
