I'm not sure about busting in on the Bears either, i would prefer a weekend meet and maybe some sort of tag game on the day.

I have a great location for the tag for a communal meet. It's just figuring out when the best time for everyone is. I like the idea of placing the tag and giving a week to locate it. Then everyone who has figured it out meet at the same time.

Sun Aug 2nd seems like a good time. Plenty of time to drop the Tag and ample time for everyone to find it and plan their weekend around the meet. - Thoughts!

lets just make that the date,so all plan to keep that date free.....The tag is null and void on saturday night(midnight) and Hawkeye places his tag on sunday morning and we all turn up at a specified time...must be relatively simple/central?? for coffee /brunch/whatever?The game reverts to the tag in play at midnight say 7 am monday morning????

The place I have in mind is a nice ride and reachable for most quite easily.

Each area - Welly, Hutt, Kapiti, Rapa may want to organise a group meet and travel together.
The only thing that could change the tag location would be the weather. That can be discussed nearer the date once we have an idea of what the weather is going to be like.

what time were you thinking Hawkeye????.I am flexible on time...why dont you suggest a time thats good for you aer0 seeing you seem to be the one most pressed for time

is this an inside or outside venue?.We could have a a tag o rama tour to get to the meet!

I was thinking about doing a treasure hunt to find the place. If I get sorted in time, I'll organise some clues to find and I'll drop off some tags to be picked up at each location. A bit like the Amazing Race but you will get the clues to each location up front. They will be able to be picked up in any order which means that we all do a similar distance but not all in the same order.
You can then plan your route to pick them up (after decifering the clues).

The final location will be the meeting point.

If you need a hand to sort stuff out on the day i will give you a hand(dropping of clues,tags items timing,whatever).I will make up some certificates too.We need to know who is coming so post up yay or nay.following people quote the previuos yay post and edit it so we have a complete list .
