Can Nicky Hayden win another GP?

I was going to ask if nicky can win another championship or not but reckon that might be a bit much to ask given current competition levels.

He is getting quicker and closer to the pointy end with each race though and I wonder if he can make it back on the podium or even win a race.

I myself dont think he will on a Ducati cos to me he doesn't look all that comfortable on it even thou he did finish 5th in the last round of the Moto GP.
It was great to see him smiling in his garage after the race. With only 16 bikes starting the race and 12 finishing it, Is Moto GP in trouble with getting Riders and Teams competing?.

Don't ask me why, but something tells me he should be riding the Suzuki. I don't know much of his skills as a bike developer (like Rossi) but it does seem that he has been riding a bike design that has been catered to the needs of Stoner, and he is slowly getting around to riding it fast enough to be top 5.

Have any other riders moved from the Honda on to another manufacturer and gone faster?

I'd say he still has it, but not on the Ducati, and he'd just look stupid going back to Honda... though in saying that if he is past it there is no point flogging a dead dog.

One singular race? Yes, why not, he is a good rider and anything can happen - however a championship? No, not in my opinion.

    He Definatly has got it.

He is actually doing better than most do when going to the Ducati if you look at Melandri etc, All are great riders, Nicky for sure has another title in him to Fiat Yamaha I reckon hed do well as it seems his best times on the Honda was around the era of the Rossized Honda If he could get a ridethere I reckon hed be onto a world title

Heh, sorry, I meant excluding Rossi! But that's sort of what I'm getting at. Rossi was given a bike and was able to develop it, Jorge is now one essentially the same machine, and it's doing it's job well. Even the Tech3 Yam's are doing fairly well for a satellite team.

    I don't think so.

Nicky has won three races total in his MotoGP career - 2 on a track that he knows intimatly when the other riders were having there first sight, and one in a race when the other top riders that season (Rossi, Capirossi, Melandri to a point) were injured (the race after the massive 2006 Catalunya pileup, after a heavy crash for Rossi in practice) and after Colin Edwards crashed exiting the very last corner handing him the win.

It's no longer the bikes excuse (Honda, Duc, anything I reckon) its time Nicky realised he would make a great Superbike rider and probably have more fun.

Also - if he was ever going to win again it would be at Laguna and he could 'only' manage 5th behind a heavily injured dude (Lorenzo) and a 'sick' dude (Moaner/Stoner). Don't get me wrong, you'd have to be able to ride fantastically to race near the top 5 in MotoGP - but that'll be the best he gets for a while I reckon. Go have a play on SBK

Piss off...he was fucking lucky getting a title...I think he only won 3 GPs!!
there are much more talented riders in that field that him...a lucky turn of events saw him get a championship...was also helpful Mat Mladin had cronic fatigue syndrome the year he won the AMA title...

He'd be lucky to get a podium let alone another GP win and certainly not on that Ducati.

You may get lucky and win a GP,but you dont win a championship by luck,he deserved that title more than anyone,....wait for it......."but rossi fell off at the last round",dont forget the only reason it went to the last round was thanks to Mr Pedrosa taking him out at Estoril,as for mladin, nothing was going stop Nicky and that factory Vtwin that year pal.
