    You were not there. (again)

I was and we all had a slide in the same place on the same corner.
Even the Cop had to admit the road was very slippery even to stand on.
All of the people in the cars said the road was slippery.

But what would we all know?
    Should have asked you first.
pull yours out ya arse MATE... much to say.. get over it, ALL i SAID WAS HOGS DONT HANDLE AS WELL AS A SPORTS BIKE... now you and SDU go off ya nuts... I have a PM from a week ago from Rossie (quick check and correct no gravel mentioned) HOWEVER I was not using Rosies arse up as an example... her choice and style of bike just like a learner on a GN250, is not the best handling bike out there in wet/grit/oil/what ever the fuck.

ps: re "you have far to much to say" ever listened to ya self
    cheers DD

I agree, a shitty winter so far hence very few frosts.

Anyone scared of riding on gravel should build there confidance up on fine shallow shingle roads.

Dude! Check your facts and don't go off half cocked.

I was there and saw it happen in front of me.

That was one very slippery road surface, there was no gravel, no warning, every body was taking it easy due to the weather, and it certainly had nothing to do with a bike "that has all the wrong geomerty (sp) for handling".

I wouldn't say there was any rider error involved in Rosie's bin either.

A bike set up for handling could have lost it on that piece of road too. I know that for a fact.

AHHHHH.. I am not disputing that for a second. christ you lot... thought I was a mate why are you asuming the worse?
once again I made a comment quoting Rossie NOT HER ACCO but to her style of bike... remember this thread is about shitty roads and in MHO a harley does not and will not be as easy to handle as a sports or touring style of bike in for EXAMPLE shingle, diesel etc any bike can arse up.

Rik... whats up your nose? the rep as coment says was cos you disapointed me and ofended me... unless you were taking the piss? then I over reacted. At least i havent resided to name calling.

Rossie... sorry no offence was ment by my posts, I did post wrong but as above post I corrected my self after re reading your PM re: fixing the bike up, my bad 'shingle' was mentioned but as in road rash not the cause.
    cheers DD
