Triumph bits ex US, ya want any sprockets or the like ?

I'm about to order a few sprockets for my 675 and thought i'd see if any other trumpy owners were looking before ordering !

15,16 tooth front for $22USD = 33 NZD
43,44,45,46,47 tooth rears for $66USD= 101 NZD
All for the stock 525 pitch chain


Plus frieght of course ! Got quoted $36 USD to get the two of em over, so the more the merrier should bring the freight down

16/47 is the stock set up so i is gonna grab me a 15/46 combo and maybe a 48 rear

yeah.. my RG 50 needs some new ones.....

but i think it's a 420...... and one of your chains will weigh the same as the whole bike.....

Dont let your total order go over $400NZD or you get taxed at this end.Freight is always cheeper with usps than the others to NZ so make sure thats the service he intends to use.
Not sure the freight savings will be huge as international freight is mainly weight based then size only becomes larger factor when the size gets quite big.

Thought about lightening it up to a 520 as 520 rear sprockets a more availible in NZ, but then id need 2 extra sprockets and a new chain too lol so nah not this time !

um, there is no tax on motorcycle parts, i have ordered things in the $1000's and never been charged yet, and funnily enough they were triumph parts from british customs

Have edited the top post as i've just heard back from him and he can go down as low as 43 on the rear but dosen't have any 48 tooth ATM

Not sure the above is correct. There may not be a tax on motorcycle items, but you have to pay GST.
I think Mossy is spot on about the NZD $400 limit, if you go over that figure you will get a bill for GST on the value of the item including the postage. Below $400 there is no bill.

I am still trying to get my $28 back from FEDEX who incorrectly charged me when I got my transponder.

I've found that it depends on how busy customs are, sometimes ya get lucky, sometimes not.

Best to always allow for the worst outcome when doin yer sums.

The way the $$ is though its not worth the bother on alot of stuff lately. And some things it makes more sense to buy local, with backup service provided.

i got stung 12.5%gst on trump cr carbs $1300NZD.Bugger.
they told me $400 was the limit.If they inspect it and its over that figure you pay before it gets sent on to you.If they dont see it then you just are lucky.
freight is also included in the $400 and it goes by the exchange rate on the arrival date.Even if you paid $399 then the exchange changes you get stung.
They dont get them all but they do get alot.
i just ordered fzr discs and the bikebandit site adds the customs price for this end and pays it for you.They call it tax and duty that gets calculated through the UPS courier service that they use via a broker.
