That would seem to be a problem only for the people who don't have their lights on. I am not one of those people.

I find as I'm riding along I tend to notice cagers who have their lights on (during the day) more often. It could be some subconsious thing that associates headlights during the day with bikes, so I'm always on the lookout.

    My headlights are permanently on.

I always ride with my lights on and even on occasions during the day, especially low sun behind me, will ride with my High Beam on. Not when following other vehicles closely but I figure that it will be more obvious to other drivers and if it irritates them, at least they can see me!!!

A sort of "double blind" effect for the cager huh..?

    lights on??

Afew years ago I did a "Petes Postie: run around Tauranga for a few months. The Hi Viz vests we had to wear made us stand out far more than the scooter lights ( which are usually mounted quite low on scooters anyway). Logic would suggest that Hiz Visibility coloured helmets would stand out like dogs balls, but who would wear one??

I have always ridden with my lights on so it has never worried me.

We noticed around the Raglan area on holiday last week that there are signs everywhere along the lines of "lights on - at all times" - not a legal sign but more of a suggestion. I might chuck the job in and by me an automotive battery shop up there... kah-ching!
