    Muffler protection?

What do others do to achieve some Muffler protection from light crashes?

It's not like you can bog/sand and repaint as you do with fairings. Or do you?

I've seen some ugly looking sliders somehow stuck to mufflers.
But is there a good method of protecting this exposed expensive bit of kit?

Make a titanium plate and mount it on the side, that way when you crash the sparks will scare the shite out of those following and make them slow up enough so you can catch them back up again. LOL. Seriously though, try a cheaper alternative, stainless steel plate, it works hardens when you grind it.
