I like the picure of the craft taken from the camera mounted in the tail. That way the pilots can tell if they lose say a wing by just looking at a screen.

I don't think this is a real cockpit for two reasons:
    1. It is a trainer / simulator cockpit since it has dual controls (for an instructor)
    2. They forgot to put the clutch pedal in (only has accelerator and brake).

The Copilot's head rest is faded already! I hope the wings weren't made by the same company. And what's with the sun shade? So clear you could even use it at night :P

This is an even scarier thing. Airbus has all of the manuals stored electronically...
Superb, when there is a power failure aboard.

It would be even worse if it ran on Windows...

It does. Windows AE (Aeroplane Edition). Apparently the only other feature they needed to add to the shutdown menu was:
    1. Log off
    2. Restart
    3. Shutdown
    4. Panic

Cool it's like two F-22s cockpit stuck side by side.

Edit: Actually I'll take that back. F-22's cockpit is way cooler

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

And given the recent problems with Airbus, I'm sure the pilots would like to have an ejector seat, just like the F-22.

The helmet, though... A million (US) dollars per helmet! Geeze.
Edit: Oops, I've fucked up! NOT the F-22 but it is the F-35 helmet! No head-up-display in the F-35 so it's all in the lid.

    Crikey!

Speaking of cockpits, between the old and new (F117 and F-35), the F-117's cockpit is so Intel 486 in comparison.

It has a digital speedo, engine AND air temperature gauge, and a fuel gauge. What else do I need?
