Really!? Aw shit I better make sure I stay in the lead then! I'm thinking I might go all out for the audience this weekend then and pull out a highside. Much more spectacular than slamming into tyres eh?

In all seriousness though, I gotta back off the crashing! Costs too much $$ and brain cells. Thanks to Andrew Adlam my bike should have some really reliable nylons on it by tonight. Cheers mate, you're a winner

Some info about the day from the Kart club, note the track direction:

Clubday is this Sunday 19 July. The track direction will be clockwise ( or the normal direction ). This weekends meeting is the Bill Picard Memorial Trophy. The trophy is an all in race of 25 laps at the end of clubday for all senior drivers. There is a trophy for the winner of this race. Duty class for the weekend is all senior drivers so please be there a bit earlier to help with setup and at the end of the day to help with tidy up.

And who would be interested in attending their next working bee?

    WORKING BEE

Our next working bee is scheduled for Sunday26 July at the track. The working bees usually run from about 9.00am through to about 3.30pm. We really need your help with these days to keep our facilities up to date and we had a great turn out at the last one so lets do it again. Many hands make light work. The track is closed for any practice on working bee days. Below is a list of jobs that we need to do at this working bee.

Fit existing bang bags to new bags
Improve trench around septic tank to old toilet block
    Clean walls in clubrooms
    Trim grass from track edges
Replace faulty power sockets in kitchen
    Repair extractor unit in kitchen
General tidy up prior to Upper Hutt Grand Prix

Tools required Petrol powered line trimmers

We also urgently need the help of an electrician, do you know someone who could help with the electrical work, if so please give Phil Davy a call on 021682057.

I've been in touch with Phil Davey and I can look at the electrical issues on 26th.
Havn't been racing due to health issues but should be able to handle the sparky work.
Life is a lesson-if I bother to listen
