    I think the real question is being missed here. If you had any old 250 and managed to lump in a larger engine and took it down to the WOF station would they notice?

    Yes, and so would you when it folded the frame in half in the middle of a bumpy corner.

    I had an '88 gsxr250 with a 400 in it. Not certed, always got a warrant, take it to VTNZ, they don't even ride them.
