Sidecar Have a Go Day - Sunday 1 Nov

After the racing on Saturday, why not hang around till Sunday and check out the Sidecar Racing Association's 'Have a Go Day'.

It will be on track 3 (the old track). The day will kick off at 9:30 and go till about 3:30.

$10 will get you 3 laps as a passenger on the sidecar(s) of your choice.

Last year there was a great turn out of moderns and classics. This year will hopefully be bigger again.

Hey ya Peter, there seems to be very little info as to the programe and how is gonna be run !
I'm thinking of entering in the support class and just wondering How many races per class is the plan ?
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Hi Sinfull,
I am picking your looking at BEARS/Protwins class.
There will be a practice/qualifying round followed be 2 races on the day.
I am picking that the bears races will be 8 laps each. I will confirm this with the committee next week.
We are running another meeting at Hampton Downs in March, so the BEARS points will be added up for the 2 meetings and someone is going to get a trophy.
There is all so the PMCC meeting the next day if your keen.
I coming down to the Vic Rd5 so pop into garage #4 and say hi.

A little depends on the number of bikes in the classes. E.g. some classes may be merged if the numbers are too low.
For the Post Classics there will be a practice/qualifying round followed by the first race being 8-10 laps. The second race is the GP race, so it will be 10-12 laps. I'll confirm the details at the meeting next week.
Is your oil burning FZR now classed as a 1000cc two-stroke??
