Like what T.G.W said he made good things come from his bad past.
Here's what he said on the crime prevention ad "When I was in prison… I got slashed in the face… my ears cut off…..my eyebrows trimmed and a butcher's knife here, an icepick here - NOT FUN AT ALL, etc… If you drink and drive and you're unfortunate enough to hit somebody, you ought to pray to God that you don't go to prison".

Maybe I'm too cynical, but looking past all the normally accepted points of view, that's what I'm seeing with every person I meet, and me. But that's off topic!
But yea, good for him if he is actually doing something to change for the "better". What does he say about drugs that you guys have mentioned
nothin much..other than that chop and other melb wideboys were
there, they didnt hear shots or anything due to loud music inside etc.
he reckons no fucker wanted to talk to the police about it, more for
fear of ending up in port melb courtesy of the vic police rather than by
chopper.

From what I recall, he was TOTALLY anti drugs, I can't remember any quotes, could probably search them out, but that was the constant, being an old school crim, what they call them over there? The port/wharf guys, can't remember the names now!
It appeared he didn't like the 'class A' drug sellers. Think he saw the degradation first hand, particularly with women, and became anti.

If i was there i would of made sure i didnt look at him, i dont know if he was like that in the club but apparently he attacked or confronted people that talked to his gf or looked at him. The music must of been loud because i think he used a sawn of shotgun? Im guessing the vic police were brutal

yeah the fear was that the vic police may or may not have wanted
siam dead...chopper claimed he did it with a cops gun..of course they denied
that.. who knows, either side could be lying-but mark didnt get convicted
of the killing

I had heard there was quite a bit of corruption, especially around the Melbourne gang wars, which was rooted out, I had heard it went quite far, I don't think NZ police can be compared on that scale, to be honest!
While we have our fair share no doubt, I think it's minor - in comparison, but then, what do I know?
