Should be valid for the pre-82 Post Classic class.

It already has the go-faster expansion chambers, top end and clutch springs in it - all it needs is someone with the balls/wallet/incentive to take it to the track!

    A test rider Jafa?

I'm sure I detect a "That's frightening!" in amongst the laughter at the end...

That was me... my `reward' after helping with cleaning the carbs and putting them back on...

Like viffermon, my hands were shaking. You can shove your GSXR1000s and Busas and even RZ350s (of which I rode GiJoe1313's (Betsy) back up SH22 yesterday)... that thing is far, far more frightening. It's uncontrollable --- no matter how careful and gentle you are, you cannot --- cannot --- keep the front wheel down once you cross the powerband in first or second gear. The revs shoot up, the noise gets louder, the handlebars start quivering from side to side and you feel like you're going to fall off the back. I really struggled. The RZ350 (or 250LC) is utterly tame in comparison. RZ350 may make same or more horsepower, but it's as gentle a beast as an inline-four 550. This... well.

I think if a really smart Japanese man thought really hard in the 1970s about designing the most effective and efficient device to kill a young man, he'd come up with something very closely approximating an RD350 with the wild spannies fitted to PirateJafa's.

That is a dangerous, scary bike. I want to buy it but I think it'll probably wipe me out.

I loved riding it to and from uni, intense as it was. Gets a wee bit scary if you sit it @ about 80kph though

lets just say the TLR would be the better bike for avoiding injury

I had a ride on her today after returning the kickstart - while it isn't the power itself that's the problem, it's the delivery and instability that makes it feel like a very Bad Idea - Especially for you wimpy road riders who go all soft at the thought of a little headshake

If you've ever ridden a sidecar with suicide shift and no brakes and consequently crashed, you'll known what i mean by Bad Idea cause that was another one.
