    Question Fat bastards sign in

    http://nz.news.yahoo.com/a/-/top-sto...obesity-stats/

"Green Party Health spokeswoman Sue Kedgley said the report highlighted the "stupidity" of the Government cutting funding for nutrition programmes and scrapping regulations banning junk food in school cafeterias."

"It's alarming that New Zealand has the third highest obesity rate and what's even more alarming is that the Government is doing nothing about it."

"The Government needed to "take its head out of the sand" because preventing illness would save money in the long term, Ms Kedgley said."

I took a look around me at the foodcourt at Bayfair mall on the weekend. All the fat spotty people were eating Mc Donalds & similar crap. All the fit healthy looking people were eating Sushi & Indian, the Labour Govt's interference didnt change anything at all, apart from making us vote against them for trying to be our mum.

Its obvious that those members of the Green Party are searching for someone to blame for them being the fat bastards they are.

Just look at Sue Bradford that stalwart of Greenism, if her arse gets any wider they are going to have to alter the doors in Parliament to get he hips through them.

So now it is the governments fault they are fat.

I wonder who they are going to be able to blame for their moustaches and other extraneous areas of hair.

Who are they going to find responsible for them all being "Fucking Ugly Bitches".

Its not their fault obviously 'cos they are the font of all that is good for us.

Not when a Big Mac or KFC is cheaper than a loaf of bread and a bottle of milk.

So how many of you remember milk at school.

You and I may realise this but you have to educate the masses.

Its easier to throw the kid a $10 note and tell them to go to one of these food places, than to get off one's arse and actually prepare something. Which brings us to another point. Its all very well talking about other foods but who is going to cook\prepare them. The majority of persons seem to have forgotten or never have been taught how to cook.

Get a grip people. You know the drill. Another lurid claim by a newspaper that's jumped on by the SIGs.

I don't see any explanation of what stats support this claim, how they were gathered, etc. I'd call it a load of shite at the moment.

Obese, based on what? BMI? I've been obese since I was 12 according to that shit. At the age of 17 I was well and truely over the 'healthy weight' for my age... however I was running 6km in under 26min, could do a 2km Ergometer Rowing Test in 6min 28sec and was trialling for the NZ Rowing Junior World Cup team.

I'd say that these days (5 years later) im not exactly what people call 'fat' but I know im overweight. I've got a bit of puku but I'm not gaining weight, I just need to get out and exercise a bit more.

What would happen if the deported all the Islanders back home and re-did the survey? I'd say that NZ would be a fair bit lighter.
