One thing about living near a sandy beach is it all goes like jelly in a good quake. The old house did some fairly loud creaks and cracks last night, depite the fact we are over 900km from the epicentre!
Experience......something you get just after you needed it

I'd run too if i had a big scare !!
A girlfriend once asked " Why is it you seem to prefer to race, than spend time with me ?"
The answer was simple ! "I'll prolly get bored with racing too, once i've nailed it !"

    Bowls can wait !

Interesting comments by Ken Ring of PredictWeather.com this morning in that the current lunar and planetary alignments are conducive to earthquake activity worldwide for the next week or so.
In short some significant lunar event that happened yesterday will be followed by continued contributing planetary events up until a lunar eclipse on July 22nd which will maximise gravitational influences (and earthquake likelyhood) at that time.

    Lunacy or reason for caution?
