How about, "Should a confusing and ill-considered ambiguous question as part of an unnecessary and expensive referendum be considered worthy of a damned good thrashing administered to whoever drafted it?"

How about making referendum where more than 75% of the public vote for something becomes binding on parliament?

Better yet, a referendum that seeks to ban referendums. I'd vote yes to that.
