My doctor thinks I have it and I'm not worried!

For most normal healthy people you will feel like crap for about a week, then go back to normal. Its those with pre existing medical conditions that need to be careful & take extra precautions.

As for the swine flu and being worried...I'm not worried about it but I was taking precautions when I was needing to visit the hospital every day last week. I was amazed how I saw practically no one else wearing masks. I strapped one on and made our boy wear one too...swine or not - both of us have those evil 'pre-existing medical conditions' and frankly I don't get enough sick leave to be able to take it too lightly. If I am in an area where it is high risk I be strapping on a shexxy mask for sure!

My missus had the swine, the results came back the day she started coming right after about a week. I never got any symptoms though, which leads me to think I might be a swine-carrier.

I'll start to worry when it crosses over to pigs and inteferes with my daily bacon intake.

    Meh.

Had swine flu week before last.

I wouldn't recommend it, but really - it's just the flu.

Get over it people. The only ones dying are the really sick ones.

I have a pre-existing condition (type I diabetes) and it didn't kill me.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

It is not that swine flu is more "potent" in its mortality rate, simply that it spreads much more easily than many other 'common' flu's and thus more people will get infected in a shorter time frame. More people get sick = more people die. People die of the common flu all the time.
I am not worried. Don't want to catch it, but if it does then what can ya do really?

The more news about swine flu, the less there is about the 'recession'. The less news abiout the recession, the better. People forget we're having one and go back to spending a little more...gotta be good for business...and my pocket could do with some relief right now.
    Well said that woman!

You are kidding right? Did he test you?

Oh well, if we do indeed have swine flu then it is not that terrible, I have some secondary infection that is nailing me flat at the moment, but apart from that I coped
