Like Aaron said the bicycle chain breaker would no be up to the standared for breaking heavy duty motorcycle chains.

Just use a dremel.
Yeah i got a dremel, but when pressing teh new fitting its a pain in the ass. Meh i'll just borrow Cams one (like I chew up alot of chains anyway!)
whats wrong with your chain?
its the same age in months as mine and mustve done 1/4 the use
i got a drc one from cycle treads for 25 bucks i think, had to use it on the weekend after snapping the frkn chain at digga mcewings in toupo
+1 for grinder and pin punch.
Before putting new chain on I hone the 2 joiner plate holes with a bit of wet & dry taped onto drill bit so it goes on a bit easier. Back in the day, chain joiner side plates used to be a very loose fit, & I never had a prob with chains coming off. Side plate holes seem to have a burr on hole edge that comes off with above method. I like to be able to get my chain off and on easily. Not saying this is the way to go, it's just what I do.
I carry a spare link taped inside airbox. I also replace joiner link/clip link halfway through chain life just to be a bit safer.
