hi all, thanks for your replies.

i'm talking about the MC active from the 60's(i think) to the 80's(possibly earlier) from south auckland(papakura.)

the patch was an upside down cross with a serpent around it, the words gypsy rogues and s.a. papakura.

    Gypsy Rogues

    Sorry Nashi,

replied to your first question with our reading second page.

The 'Rogues' were based in Papakura late seventies, not sure about the patch as was not a 'Patched' member but knew a few of the guys. They disappeared almost as quickly as they formed. Most would be late 40's early 50's by now I would think.

Nothing about a motorcycle club in the heading or the initial post. My opinion is that to change the thread now to a motorcycle club is off topic.

    thanks for your replies.
Started in South Auckland in the very early 70's main members then were, Stephen Grant, Denis Burgess, Ivan Curry, Paul Larry, Shorty, and others... in 73 Robert MacGregor, They were friendly at the time with Hells Angells Auckland , Hook ( Chester ), Spade, cant realy remember many more. They disbanded around the early 1980s . Some guys still around, a fair few have passed away with time.. Hope this helps even though its 3 years late ;-)

On behalf of the OP thanks! Inbetween all the crap, this is what I do enjoy here on KB; that you can actually get an answer to your question from someone who you would never otherwise meet.
(Even if you might have to wait for 3 years...)

May the bridges I burn light the way.
