Arrrrrr ignorance............such bliss. I had nothing to do with your "stone deaf" award but can only applaud whoever voted you for it

Only Katman could even attempt to put a spin on 70% against
To laugh often and much; to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children; to earn the appreciation of honest critics and to endure the betrayal of false friends. To appreciate beauty; to find the best in others; to leave the world a bit better whether by a healthy child, a garden patch, or a redeemed social condition; to know that even one life has breathed easier because you have lived. This is to have succeeded

    Boob, you poor deluded fuck.

As I have said - if I have caused even 1 person to reconsider how they conduct themselves on their motorcycle, it's a victory.

Did you read the description of the 'Stone Deaf' nomination?

Rather true to the mark if you think about it.

If it means they've saved themselves from binning by doing so I presume?

    Question

Why didnt everyone that voted, vote Yes?
They may have slowed the rate (or even stopped) Katman from posting further threads of the very nature that this thread is about.
I think its called Reverse Psychology.

You have a lot to learn about conveying a message. The man will always be judged along side his message as it is as important as the message itself. Hence why hobo's aren't well regarded speakers on wealth creation.

If he could actually back up half of what he says in an intelligent debate (which is well documents against him) he might get a bit more respect. Until then his "Stone Deaf" award & current poll result speak volumes.
Quite the contrary, I think the mere fact that people have bothered to vote means that by and large they have actually thought about what Katman has to say, so it's irrelevant which way they actually voted. The point is, they have thought about what he has to say, therefore he has made a difference by causing them to think. Maybe I didn't make myself clear in my previous post and for that I apologise, but I do believe many who would have voted 'No' did so because Katman may have rubbed them up the wrong way. We are obviously viewing this subject from different angles (as people tend to do) you seem to be focussing on the question itself, which I agree is black or white, whereas I am looking at it from the point of whether he has given them cause to think.

I'm not sure of your history with Katman, obviously you two have banged heads on more than one occasion but there is no need to take your animosity for him out on me.

You may not like Katman and that's your prerogative, however to be so dismissive of his message is a concern - any motorcyclist who does not have some concern for the safety of themselves (and other riders) gives me cause for concern.

Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares? ...He's a mile away and you've got his shoes

Well I must apologise to all those who PM'd me regarding Mr Johnson, you were correct - he did resort to red rep and abuse rather than the intelligent debate he quotes publicly that he prefers.

Keep ya knickers on CS363, it's just an online forum.

After your previous statement(s) one could only imagine you akin to the Iraqi minister of interior. With the poll showing 70% against & the red rep you got from several members, im happy to leave it at that

No real point in debating with farm yard animals

    Pearls before swine

ps: the ones who you seem to have befriended use the rep system with such effect

Thanks to Mr Katman, I was forced to chase a Porsche Carrera 4S back over the Rimutakas. I think Mr Porsche Driver had his traction control turned off or something, judging by the way the thing squirmed around. While the Porsche had great lines, its driver didn't.

Maybe not to you..but to me he is

On topic - I ride careful and considerate because I didn't when I started out and fell off and hurt myself - that was all it took really. That AND before I get on my bike and go for a ride (now only on weekends *sniff*) I have to kiss my little boy goodbye and see you later. I am absolutely committed to seeing him grow up...that said I have had near misses and all have been 'near misses' because I was riding defensively and had that little bit in reserve.

I ride for good times not quick ones.

As long as he keeps the trench coat for private dress-up sessions at your house, all well and good....
And a big : for your mature approach to riding, especially in light of the wee one, something others could learn from.....that's of course if they didn't resemble the attached pic so much.....
